Codesters Reflection
What website did you utilize? I utilized the website called Codesters by using codes that will setup and use codes that will let the program operate In different ways. What was the name of the course? Intro to Codesters(phyton) was the name of the course we were learning What programming language did you learn about? The program language we used was Python. Python is a program language for the purpose of programing. How many lessons were there? There was five codesters lessons. All the lessons had to do with coding and programing. The programs were very useful In the term of coding and programing. These lessons had many thing about coding like talking with your sprite. What did you learn in each lesson? I learned how to add stages and sprites into a program. I learned how to ask questions and learned how to get responses. I learned how to move and change sprites and stages. What activities/projects did you complete. Projects -Chat with your sprite -Building your first program -Codester In space -Shape and Drawing -Recycling loop - We Did activities which had to do with making questions for your sprite to ask you.’ These are the projects/activities that I have completed List at least 15 different lines of code that you used and explain what each line of code actually does. Finally, please explain how coding might be useful to you in the future and write your own thoughts and ideas about this short programming course. Stage.set_background - This line of code sets the background image. sprite = coasters.Sprite - This line of code generates a character for the program Sprite.event_click sprite.move_down(90)- This code will move the sprite 90 degrees down wilbur.say("Hi! Thanks for coming to help clean up the park!") - This code starts a conversation with you and the sprites. my_list = ["sodacan", "steel can", "water bottle", "milk jug"] - This code will generate objects that are listed. sprite.glide_to(-200, -150) - This will glide a sprite to a pinpoint. sprite.turn_left(90) -This code will turn the sprite left 90 degrees . stage.wait(2) - This will change the background of the program In a few seconds wilbur.go_to(50, -150) - This will make the sprite go to the pin point (50,-150). wilbur.flip_right_left() - This code will make the sprite change directions. bin = codesters.Sprite("recycling bin")- This code will generate a recycling bin. if soccer_ans == "yes": - This code will generate a code for what your response is.
